Miami River Project

The Miami River Project directly on the river. Recently a few new residential and mixed use projects have been announced indicating that the Miami River is transitioning into a trendy residential and commercial area.  An area that once nobody was interested in is now one of Miami hottest commodities with prices soaring.

One of the largest projects announced is the Miami River Project, which I’ve mentioned in a recent newsletter. The project will consist of 4-million Square Feet featuring:

  • 2- 60 story towers
  • 1,678 residential units
  • 330 hotel rooms
  • 176,350 Sq.Ft of commercial space
  • 66,000 Sq.Ft of offices

Imagine living in an ultra luxury tower and having access to your residence by means of a Biometric security system, now you can at One River Point.

One River Point – The Twin Tower project at the Miami River will be spectacular.

It will be the first residential tower within the project. The project’s two 60-story towers will be designed by internationally known architect Rafael Viñoly.

What will make One River Point unique is the high-tech security features that appeal to those who come from countries where robberies and kidnappings are more common, the developer disclosed it to the Miami Herald, recently in an interview. The elevators will be equipped with biometric scanners that will take residents to their floor after confirming their identity by scanning their faces. Sensors will track the location of employees working in the building, who will be required to carry radio-equipped key cards at all times. The building will also have a dedicated, 24-hour security room, along with vaults where residents can store art and other valuables.

This is pretty special making the units amongst the most expensive in downtown Miami, with prices starting at $850 per square foot. A total of 350 units will be offered at prices that start at $850,000 and go up to $12 million.

Amenities will include a robotic parking garage, private elevator landings, private club with a media room and cigar lounge, poolside café and butler service and more.
