The Miami ePrix was seen live in the states on Fox Sports 2. It was wonderful for Miami, another great way to show everyone all that Miami has to offer. They had live shots from all over town, the warm weather, the cars, the speeds, it was exhilarating.

It attracted many well known celebrities, media personalities, and executives. One seen and speaking to the media was Sir Richard Branson who joined the Virgin Racing Team in the paddock. Branson stated “It has been a privilege to be here today with the team to see the backstage action, the working of the garage and to support the drivers. This has been a great day all round even without finishing on the podium and Miami has been such a great venue for this ePrix.” Branson, founder of the Virgin Group compromises more than 400 companies, including Virgin Records, Virgin Atlantic .
The Miami Museum park was filled with food trucks and vendors, there was a large screen in the middle of the park showing the race and many were gathered watching from that very spot. Bounce houses for children, and activities were also part of the celebration. The bay was filled with boats including the Seafair and VanDutch offering VIP services for the elite.

It was a wonderful, fun event for all. We look forward to it again in the future. Keep your eyes out to be part of it, whether you live in Miami or not!
